All original antique brass, naturally aged, which we have cleaned and polished. Lovely detail in the decorative castings and brass rod ends. The beds finials are slightly larger at the head end giving a lovely aesthetic touch and harmonises well with the overall feel of the beds proportions. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Jet Black, waxed to preserve. The side rails have been extended, strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for mattress size 180cm x 200cm / 6’ x 6’6” Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on slats. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
