Unique classic Victorian king size iron and brass bed with an attractive large central casting and brass feature on the foot end. Very nice detailed castings, clamps and central upright on head end. Fabulously sturdy 2inch bed posts balance the overall feel of this bed, creating a fabulous centre piece for your bedroom. The bed has been professionally restored with rails extended. The jigsaw corner joints have been checked for good fit and the whole frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in Farrow & Ball paint company Hague Blue which has then been waxed to preserve. Antiqued brass knobs, collars and rails. Suitable for standard king size mattress 5' x 6'6" or 150cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" platform top mini box base.
