Very handsome mahogany and brass king size bed with lovely oval matching bedside cupboard. Fluted columns on bed with brass inlay and brass palm tree knobs. Lovely patina in the beautifully coloured timber. Craftsmanship in the construction from a previous era. The bed has been professionally restored with timber cleaned and waxed and brass lightly polished. Original side rails the right length to take 5' x 6'6" mattress. A modern 150cm x 200cm is a tight fit. We could extend the side rails if required POA. The beside is particularly charming with fluted columns and false three drawers front. The top drawer is a drawer and the bottom two are in fact the cupboard door which also locks as does the top drawer. Both original keys are present. Galleried marble top.
