Very handsome mahogany and ormolu French caned king size bed. All cane in very good condition. Lovely colouring in the timbers with subtle gilded foliate decoration on corners adding to the class of this bed. The bed has been cleaned and waxed and side rails extended to support standard full-length king size mattress 5' x 6'6"/ 150cm x 200cm inside side rails. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. 2" base used in photograph. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
