Very handsome solid walnut carved Henri 11 style Emperor size bed. Raised geometric panels with gadrooned borders and carved and turned pillars. Substantial quality with original gold lining. The bed has been sympathetically cleaned and polished to preserve lovely rich patina. The bed separates into four parts for ease off transport and assembly. Can stand alone as two single beds. Side rails extended to suit modern length Emperor mattress 7' x 6'6" /210 x 200. This is the biggest handsome bed we have found in thirty years of searching.
