Very lovely early Victorian iron and brass bed with cast central foliate motif and curved iron details. Good definition in decorative castings. The rails have been strengthened, extended and adapted to support wood slats to suit a king size 150cm x 200cm mattress. Amazing aged greeny tones paint waxed to to preserve. Original solid brass knobs. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base for £225. (used in photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250-£750. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.
