Very lovely early Victorian iron and brass bed with very individual cast central motif and curved iron details. Good definition in decorative castings. Professionally restored with strengthened, extended and adapted to support wood slats to suit a king size 150cm x 200cm mattress. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in lovely aged whitewash finish of Little Greene paint company Dorcesher pink over lLight peach blossom.Original solid brass knobs cleaned with natural aged patina preserved.
