Very nice French double Louis XV1 style upholstered bed with carved frame and naturally aged original paintwork has been cleaned and waxed to preserve. Newly upholstered in lovely coloured teal linen fabric with piped edge. Suitable for double mattress. 140 x 190cm/4'6" x 6'3" Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base for £225. (Used in photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250-£750. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Workshop/store open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Saturday 10am-4pm Sundays by appointment.
