Very Nice Single Oak Bed with Original Vono Rails

This lovely single bed is very pretty and humble in its design, but still with lovely detail. A very nice English bed with lots of French Louis style influence. A Rocaille relief carving is featured on both the head and foot end of the bed, with pretty overall shaping. We have cleaned and sympathetically restored to ensure a beautiful, solid and sturdy bed. The frame has been professionally restored and the side rails adapted to take a slatted base, or a platform base. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with one of our Bordeaux mattresses. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
