Very Nice example of a Victorian bedstead with lovely shaping on the foot end. The top brass rail and bottom iron rail gently curve to meet the posts, giving this bed an extra touch of style and detail. This bed has an attractive urn shaped upstand with floral details, the castings and clamps are also very attractive and in good detail. Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The siderails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base. Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Pompeian Ash colour with heavy dark wax finish, buffed well to protect and give a gentle shine. Suitable for standard King size mattresses 5’ x 6’6 / 150cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
