Very pretty forged iron Portuguese kingsize bedstead with lovely wire trellis detail and foliate central cast detail. Original iron castors can be removed if preferred. Light and airy look yet strong sturdy construction. Well fitting cornet joints. Sympathetically restored with rails extended to suit modern king size mattress 150cm x 200cm.The frame has been shot blasted and rimed prior to hand paint finish in beautiful soft, pale Little Green Paint company Dorchester pink.. Round brass knobs on each corner. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) We can also supply mini box bases 2" with platform top (£225) or 4"with springs (£275)for better mattress support and get into bed height.
