Victorian Iron and Brass King Size No End Bed lovely Spindles and Finials

A highly attractive Victorian king size no end bed with lovely original Finials which has fabulous shaping, collars and spindles which we have cleaned and highlighted to bring out the lovely natural patina of the brass. Very nice and good condition castings and clamps, the castings have a particularly nice fleur de-lis style shaping. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Jack Black, lightly dark waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit. Suitable for standard king Size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” bed base with our Chartres mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
