A lovely double Victorian bed with original brass top rails, brass casting facings, knobs/finials, and brass balls which we have cleaned and highlighted. Fabulous shaping with very interesting castings, all in good detail. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Sage Green. Whole bed waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
