Gorgeous French Arts and Crafts Double

A gorgeous Arts and Crafts bed with original paint finish. Fabulously French in its design and a lovely example of the stunning work produced during the arts and crafts movement. The main colour of the bed is an aged Eau-de-Nil with parts of the beds design highlighted/painted in a lovely deep blue (similar in tone to Farrow and Ball’s Hague Blue). Very nice shaping and design. Whole bed has been lightly cleaned, checked and sympathetically restored to ensure solid, sturdy construction and good assembly. Suitable for UK double mattress size 4'6" x 6'3" / 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 4” bed base with our Bordeaux mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections. Please see our web site or email for specifications and prices.
