The bed boasts delightful simple detailing in the castings, complemented by the lovely aged original brass knobs, exuding an air of refined elegance. Crafted with sturdy and robust construction, this bed ensures both durability and lasting beauty. The bed frame has undergone a meticulous process, starting with shot blasting and priming, to provide a strong foundation. It is then hand-painted to finish in the shade Jet black from Little Greene Paint Company. To preserve, the finish has been carefully waxed, adding a subtle sheen. The rails of the bed have been thoughtfully adapted to accommodate wood slats, offering optimal support for a modern king size mattress measuring 150cm x 200cm / 5' x 6'6". This versatile design is particularly suited for smaller rooms or those with picturesque views, making it a perfect choice for maximising space and creating a cozy ambiance. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" platform top (as used for photograph).
